Alex Van Reeve
Biography
The musical project Alex Van Reeve is spearheaded by Polish DJ and producer Artur Rutecki, born on July 23, 1985.
His artistic activity is primarily rooted in the trance genre, with a focus on vocal trance and uplifting trance.
He is also known under the spelling variations Alex Van ReeVe and Alex van ReeVe.
At the age of thirteen, he discovered trance and developed a deep connection with the style, which remains his primary means of expression through his sets, his radio show Xanthe Sessions, and his own productions.
His first release, the track Skyliner in 2013 on the Monster Tunes label, marked a turning point in his career.
Since then, he has been actively producing for labels such as Who’s Afraid of 138, In Trance We Trust, High Contrast, Always Alive Recordings, Digital Society Recordings, Blue Soho Recordings, Extrema Global, and Beyond Belief.
His work has received support and praise from major figures in the trance scene such as Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Gareth Emery, Sean Tyas, John Askew, Jordan Suckley, and Giuseppe Ottaviani.
