David Deejay, real name Adi Cristian Colceru, is a Romanian DJ and producer born on December 10, 1980 in Barlad. He studied violin from the first grade before abandoning this specialty. His first official success dates back to 2008 with the song Sexy Thing, which reached number one on the charts in Romania and was played on radio in Poland and Russia.
He uses the aliases Adi Colceru and DJ David, the latter for his club performances. His musical universe covers the genres house, electronic, dance, eurodance, and europop. Variations of his stage name include David DJ, David Dee Jay, David DeeJay, Davie Deejay, and Deejay David.
