Angel City
Biography
Angel City is a dance music project formed in 2002 by Dutch producers Hugo Zentveld and Aldwin Oomen. The project is fronted by singer Lara McAllen.
Angel City’s catalogue is largely built around covers and dance remakes. Their hit Do You Know (I Go Crazy) combines the instrumental line from Children by Robert Miles with lyrics taken from Do You Know by Michelle Gayle. Another key track, Touch Me, uses the lyrics from Cathy Dennis’s hit Touch Me (All Night Long).
Lara McAllen left the project in 2005 to pursue a solo career, then rejoined in late 2006. She subsequently appeared on the group’s 2007 single 24/7.
