Alex Carrena
Biography
Alex Carrena was born on September 22, 1980, in the province of Liège. Passionate about music from an early age, he made his DJ debut in 2001 at a multi-DJ party. At that time, he mainly played House and also explored Trance, Progressive and Electro.
Later on, his style moved toward electro House and Progressive, with a touch of Pop. He has played in several clubs, including Fuse, Millenium, Montini, Cube, You and Fiesta Club.
He performed at major events such as the Belga Dance Festival (2005) and the City Parade 2006, where he was invited by Claude El Divino, the event’s organizer. In the summer of 2009 he held a residency at the Beach Bar in Hasselt, and in 2010 he played at a DJ festival in Pescara, Italy.
He has also appeared on radio, notably on Net FM (resident), Maximum FM, and Radio Canale 93 (Bari, Italy). Over the years, he has shared lineups with artists such as Junior Jack, Mademoiselle Luna, Dave Lambert, Cor Fijneman, Regi, Syndicate of Law and Pragakhan.
