Dimaro

Dimaro is a Belgian music project composed of members Sammy Merayah and Mario Willems, the latter also known by his legal name Mario Robert Willems.

Considered one of Belgium’s most promising DJs, Dimaro stands out for an energetic and varied musical style that defies simple categorization, bringing a touch of excitement and surprise to his productions.

His DJ career has led him to perform in many renowned clubs and major festivals, notably at Tomorrowland seven times, as well as at TomorrowWorld, Laundry Day, Ostend Beach, Daydream, and Summer Festival. He has also played at prestigious venues like Le Carre and the VIP Room in Saint-Tropez.

As a producer, Dimaro draws inspiration from many different styles, contributing to a unique and instantly recognizable sound. His singles, such as Fiesta (CR2 Rec.), Summer (Spinnin’ Rec.), and Stadium (Spinnin’ Rec.), have regularly reached the top 10 on the Beatport sales charts.

In 2014, he received a gold record in Belgium for his track Drums, which became one of the major dance anthems of the year.

Dimaro is also recognized for his remixing talent, having worked for major international artists like DJ Antoine feat. Akon, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne. A major turning point in his career was his remix of the worldwide hit Are You With Me by Lost Frequencies in the summer of 2015, a version that became a staple in the sets of many DJs around the world.

His approach behind the decks is often described as “Lekker Groovy,” skillfully blending different uplifting dance music styles to captivate the audience.
