Philippe El Sisi

Biography

Philippe El Sisi, full name فيليب صبحي ابراهيم السيسي (Philippe Sobhi Ibrahim El Sisi), is a DJ and trance producer originally from Egypt, born in 1984.

He started playing piano at age five, began DJing at small parties at fifteen, and started composing around age twenty. His piano training influences his melodies, and a certification in music theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is valuable to him.

In 2008, he won the Diverted Recording remix competition for his remix of “Wildfire” among over a thousand participants. Shortly after, he signed his first EP on Offshore Music, including “Never After” (played at ASOT 350 by Aly & Fila) and “Witness”, massively supported by Armin Van Buuren who included it in his charts.

His remix of “Provision” by Andy Prince was also supported by Armin Van Buuren, voted “Future Favorite” on ASOT and ranked among his top December tracks.

He later studied sound engineering at SAE in Italy and now splits his residence between Egypt and Milan.

His style is primarily rooted in trance, with uplifting, progressive, and melodic variations, often tinged with Egyptian influences.
