
Ratty
Biography
Ratty was a side project of the German electronic music group Scooter, active between 2000 and 2004.
It was formed by Scooter members during the “Second Chapter” (with HP, Rick, and Axel Coon) and at the start of the “Third Chapter” (with HP, Rick, and Jay Frog), involving Jens Thele, Axel Broszeit, Jürgen Frosch, Hans Peter Geerdes, and Hendrik Stedler.
The project originated in 2000 with the B-side Sunrise (Ratty's Inferno) on Scooter’s single She's The Sun, later reissued on Ratty’s single Sunrise (Here I Am).
Under this pseudonym, the collective released the singles Sunrise (Here I Am) and Living On Video, and produced remixes for artists such as Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, ATB, and Marc et Claude.
Their musical style is trance and electronic, directly linked to Scooter’s sonic universe.
The project is also known under the aliases 3 A.M. (2), The Loop!, Kosmonova, Section 11, and Guess Who !.
