He has contributed vocals and writing to tracks with electronic acts such as Dash Berlin, Laidback Luke, Hardwell, the duo Vicetone, Project 46 and Jay Cosmic. Notable vocal credits include Heartbeat, Collide and Here Tonight.
McLoughlin began music young, taking up guitar in seventh grade. He left Rippowam to attend Wooster School in Danbury, CT, later studied at Colgate University and enrolled in the Music Business graduate program at New York University before taking a leave to pursue music professionally.
His first significant video was an acoustic cover of Save the World, posted on May 22, 2011, co-produced with Garrington Spence and filmed by Jon Kilmer. The channel grew rapidly to nearly twelve million views and over fifty thousand subscribers prior to reaching the 2019 milestone.
In 2012 he auditioned for Season 3 of The Voice, performing Wild World; all three coaches turned and he initially joined Adam Levine’s team. During the Battle Rounds he performed Santeria and was then stolen by Blake Shelton, the first artist to be saved in the show’s history.
In July 2013 he self-released the melodic dubstep EP Tears Of Tempo, issuing one track per week (including Chasing Ghosts and One Desire). The EP received notable support on specialized blogs and helped establish his presence within melodic dubstep.
As a producer, singer and songwriter, Collin balances solo releases, collaborations and live performances across the international EDM scene.
