Darius and Finlay
Biography
Darius & Finlay is an Austrian producer and DJ duo, founded in 2008 by Christian Gmeiner and Johann Gmachl.
On their first tour, Christian Gmeiner and Chris Antonio performed together featuring the track Do It All Night. After the tour, Chris Antonio focused on his solo project under the name Dirty Impact, while Gmeiner continued the project with Johann Gmachl as Darius & Finlay.
At the end of 2020, Johann Gmachl left to pursue a solo career under the stage name Moodygee. Since then, Christian Gmeiner and Chris Antonio have been performing again as Darius & Finlay.
The duo became particularly known for the tracks Do It All Night and Rock to the Beat.
In 2008, Destination, recorded with American singer Nicco, was their first hit and quickly charted in Austria. That same year they also released Do It All Night with Nicco, a club success that charted in Austria and Germany.
In 2009, the project Darius & Finlay signed with the label Sony Music Germany.
