Kosmonova
Biography
Kosmonova is the musical project of German DJ Michael Nehrig, born in 1970 in Krefeld. In 1996 he met Jan Vervloet; they formed the duo Kosmonova and produced music together.
Success arrived in 1998 with the single Celebrate, which charted in several European countries, notably Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The album Supernova, released shortly after, also met with success.
After that the duo did not release any new projects for two years. The year 0 saw the release of the compilation Acid Folk along with various remixes; two singles followed: Danse Avec Moi and Discover The World, which enjoyed major club and chart success.
Later Kosmonova collaborated with Sascha Van Holt on two singles: The Daydream (2001) and Sometimes (2002).
