Song Yuqi, known as Yuqi, is a Chinese singer, songwriter, and producer born September 23, 1999. Signed to CUBE Entertainment, she pursues a solo career in China while remaining a member of South Korean group (G)I-DLE, which debuted in 2018.

Alongside her work with (G)I-DLE, she launched her solo career in 2021 on Cube with the single A Page, made up of two dance-pop tracks: Giant and Bonnie & Clyde. The release helped earn her a spot on the Chinese reality competition show “Stage Boom.”

That same year, she took part in Salute to the Heroes, the theme song for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and appeared on several Chinese reality shows as a soloist. With (G)I-DLE, the album I Never Die arrived in March 2022 and reached number two in Korea, followed six months later by the EP I Love, which returned the group to number one.

In 2024, (G)I-DLE released their second album 2, topping Korea’s Circle chart upon its January release. Yuqi then issued her first solo EP, YUQ1, which reached number two in Korea in April. The multilingual EP features collaborations with pH-1, Lexie Liu, and MINNIE, and also broke into Japan’s Top 40.
