Vasco and Millboy
Biography
Vasco and Millboy is a Swedish electronic music duo made up of Jorge Vasconcelo (alias Vasco) and Juha Myllylä (alias Millboy). The project began its activity around 1995/96.
Jorge Vasconcelo is a Chilean-Swedish producer and songwriter. He was one of the four members of the group Caramell, where he produced most of their songs together with Juha Myllylä.
Juha Myllylä is a songwriter and producer, also described as Finnish. In 1995 he signed his first producer and songwriter agreement with Dr. Records (Dr. Alban), and since 1998 he has run his own recording company and label. He then remained an underground DJ and made occasional contributions to original Caramella Girls songs, including his remix of Wish Upon a Star.
After Caramell disbanded, Juha Myllylä retired from music, but returned in 2022 with various contributions, including taking part in writing the lyrics for Boop Boy.
