Biography

TJ Davis, born Teresa Jane Davis, is a British singer from Leeds, England.

Her career began as a backing vocalist for numerous artists, including Gary Numan, D:ream, P.J. Proby, Marc Almond, Tom Jones, Stereophonics, and Burt Bacharach. She was also the lead vocalist for the band Miss Shiva on their debut single in 1994, before being replaced by Louise Dean.

She is particularly known in the video game music scene for her collaboration with the award-winning composer Richard Jacques. She performed songs for the soundtracks of the games *Sonic R* (1997) and *Metropolis Street Racer* (1999-2000), notably singing the tracks Diamond In The Sky and Can You Feel The Sunshine for *Sonic R*.

From 1997 to 2004, she was a member of the ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again, portraying the character ‘Frida Longstockin’.

As a solo artist, she moved into electronic music. In December 2001, she collaborated with the trance project Ian Van Dahl on a trance cover of Wonderful Life, which reached number 42 on the UK charts. The following year, in 2002, she recorded vocals for the track I Believe by DJ Sash!.

She continues to release work, both solo and in collaboration.
