Biography
Tasha Marillia is a 23-year-old singer (at the time of writing) who has won an industry-recognized Best Unsigned Act Award. She worked in Los Angeles with the company Genuine Rep., which represents producers who have collaborated with artists such as Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, as well as with the producers The Insomniax to create her first single Lotta Love and its music video.
Director Chris Woodrum, whose work features in the hit series Entourage, and the team at Atomic Studios also participated in the production of this first video. She contributed her vocal talents to the backing vocals on the number one single in Malaysia by Miss Nina, titled What You Waiting For (feat. Colby O'Donis), a track released in July 2010 and later broadcast on British airwaves.
Tasha Marillia describes her unique sound as fresh, clean, and upbeat with a touch of vocal soulfulness. After immersing herself in music from a young age, she honed her talent through live performances and studied music theory as part of a media and music degree. Among her many influences are Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson.
