Sue McLaren
Biography
Sue McLaren, whose real name is Susan McLaren, is a UK-based singer, vocalist, songwriter and producer from the North East of the United Kingdom. Her work sits primarily within electronic music, with a strong focus on trance, vocal trance and progressive trance.
Over her career she has built a strong reputation by writing and releasing tracks with a wide range of international producers. She has more than 100 releases across Trance and Progressive, and has collaborated with artists including Paul Van Dyk, Aly&Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Jorn van Deynhoven, Craig Connelly, Andy Moor and Genix.
She is notably associated with the track You're Not Alone. Among her standout releases, her single Guiding Light with Paul Van Dyk has surpassed 4.6 million Spotify streams and has nearly half a billion views on YouTube.
Sue McLaren is also one half of the electronic duo Siskin, formed in 2018.
