Stanfour
Biography
The band Stanfour was formed in 2004 on the German island of Föhr by brothers Alexander Rethwisch and Konstantin Rethwisch, along with Eike Lüchow and a fourth founding member.
Their second album, Rise and Fall, released in December 2009 and entirely produced by the band, marks a shift towards a slightly more electronic and lighter sound.
The first single from this album, Wishing you Well, reached number 10 on the German charts.
Their third studio album, October Sky (2012), features a more electronic and experimental direction, often compared to that of Coldplay.
The band also appeared on the song Face to Face by trance DJ ATB, included on his 2014 album Contact.
