Biography
Splash is a German music project produced by Avenue (G. and M. Cope). It features a female vocalist and a ragga-rapper.
The project began in 1990, releasing the first two singles I Need Rhythm and Set The Groove On Fire. In 1991, a self-titled debut album was released through Warner Music. All tracks were arranged and produced by G. + M. Cope, with all instruments played by Giorgio and Martin Cope.
Female vocals were performed by Aimee McCoy, and the raps by Eric P. III, also known as Deon Blue before joining Pharao. Additional keyboards (tracks 5 and 8) were played by Mr. Boom, guitars (tracks 6, 8 and 10) by Bert, and guest rapping on track 4 was by Midnight Fish. Assistant engineering credits go to Diabolic and Kevin J. Burell.
Later came the eurodance singles One More Dream, Got 2 Have Your Love, and All I Do.
Bells Of Hope was included on the compilation “Bravo Dance X-mas”, while Tell Me Why appeared on “Mega Dance 2”.
