Soundfactory
Biography
Soundfactory, sometimes credited as Sound Factory, was a Swedish house and dance project formed by DJ, remixer, and producer Emil Hellman with vocalist James Gicho, who was credited as St. James on vocals.
The duo is best known for the hit single Good Time, mixed with StoneBridge, which reached number one on the dance charts in 1993. Other singles such as Understand This Groove and 2 the Rhythm were also successful.
These tracks led to the release of their only album, *Product*. After providing vocals for the singles and the album, James Gicho left the project in 1994.
Emil Hellman continued under the name Soundfactory as a solo act, also using it as one of his aliases for remix work.
