Biography
Serious Danger is the pseudonym of British producer Richard Philips, associated with the late-1990s speed garage scene.
He first became prominent in 1997 and was particularly popular around the London area. He was signed to the label Fresh Records.
His best-known releases include Deeper (1997) and High Noon (1998). Both tracks entered the UK Singles Chart, peaking at No. 40 and No. 54 respectively, with Deeper also reaching No. 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.
In 1998, he also remixed God Is a DJ for Faithless. His commercial chart presence in the UK was brief overall, totaling four cumulative weeks on the UK Singles Chart.
