Biography
Saphron is a singer-songwriter based in Northampton, United Kingdom. Of British and Sri Lankan heritage, she creates music that blends alt-pop, cinematic soul and electronic influences.
After a decade writing behind the scenes for other artists — accumulating over 50 million streams and placements on platforms such as Netflix, Love Island and Disney — her first collaborative release, Walk Through Shadows, released on Abora Records, marked her official debut with a label.
As a solo artist, her debut single Nice Try received BBC Radio support and charted in Sri Lanka. She has also worked with major trance figures like Ben Gold and Andrew Rayel, achieving two number-one placements on Beatport.
Her debut album, Identity Crisis, due later this year, is presented as a raw, genre-transcending exploration of identity, power and authenticity, marking the emergence of her personal artistic voice.
