S.E.X. Appeal
Biography
S.E.X. Appeal is a project created by Lyane Leigh, a former member of E-Rotic, intended to avoid a lengthy legal dispute over the use of that name.
Her partner in the project is Gino Gillian, a singer and entertainer from Singapore who found success across Asia performing in mega-shows for Julio Iglesias, Viktor Lazlo and even Frank Sinatra; the other member is Richard Michael Smith.
The first single, Voulez Vous Coucher Avec Moi, was released in 1996; the track, at a lively 150 BPM, debuted at the ‘Fun’ disco club in Munich during a performance where Lyane Leigh and Richard Michael Smith performed a very sexy dance.
Early live shows took place in April 1996: in one 40-minute concert the group also performed the trance track Come On Baby and a remake of I Want Your Sex.
S.E.X. Appeal made a comeback in 2007 with the album “Sensuality”, which produced the singles Voodoo Queen, Fragile Love, Love 2 Love and Poison Called Love. The group later recorded the album “Russian Roulette” in 2013.
