Biography
OneRepublic is an American band formed in 2002 in Colorado Springs; regular collaborations with figures from electronic music have broadened their repertoire.
The lineup includes Ryan Tedder (vocals, piano), Zach Filkins (guitar, viola), Drew Brown (guitar), Brent Kutzle (bass, cello), Eddie Fisher (drums) and Brian Willett (keyboards, violin). Tim Myers and Jerrod Bettis were also members of the band at different times.
One of their early notable electronic ventures was the remix of their song If I Lose Myself by Swedish producer Alesso in 2013.
They later increased collaborations, notably with Kygo on Stranger Things (2017) and with the Norwegian duo Seeb on Rich Love that same year.
In 2022, OneRepublic teamed up with producer Gryffin for You Were Loved.
The year 2024 saw collaborations with David Guetta on I Don't Wanna Wait, and with Meduza and Leony on Fire, the latter named the official song of UEFA Euro 2024.
The band also composed Nobody for the anime Kaiju No. 8.
Among their musical influences, OneRepublic cites the group M83, known for its electronic-tinged compositions.
