Little Big

Biography

Little Big is a musical group formed in 2013 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, characterized by a mix of rave and punk-pop styles.

The group currently consists of Ilya "Ilich" Prusikin (vocals) and Sonya Tayurskaya (vocals), who joined the lineup in 2014. Former members include Anna Kast (vocals, 2013-2014), Olympia Ivleva (vocals, 2013–2018), Sergey "Gokk" Makarov (DJ, keyboards, backing vocals, 2013–2022) and Anton "Boo" Lissov (vocals, guitar, 2014-2022). In 2022, Little Big left Russia and relocated to the United States in protest of the Russian government’s invasion of Ukraine, resulting in the departure of the latter two.

Their debut full-length album, “With Russia from Love”, was released on 17 March 2014. Over their career they have released four studio albums, one live album and numerous EPs and singles.

The group achieved viral success with the video for the song Skibidi, released on 5 October 2018; the video featured a dance that became popular and spawned the “Skibidi Challenge”, in which internet users tried to imitate it.

Little Big were due to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with their single UNO, but the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2020 the official Eurovision YouTube channel published a video featuring their song, which became their most viewed video.
