Biography

Linda Bengtzing, full name Linda Birgitta Bengtzing, is a Swedish singer born on March 13, 1974, in Gullspång.

She gained recognition by participating in the fourth season of the Swedish reality TV show “Fame Factory” in 2004. Her career is marked by multiple participations in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2011.

In 2005, her song Alla flickor qualified for the final and reached number 8 on the charts. In 2006, with Jag ljuger så bra, she qualified directly for the final and reached number 2 on the charts. Her first album, “Ingenting att förlora”, was released that same year and reached number 4.

In 2007, her duet with Markoolio, Värsta schlagern, reached number one on the charts. In 2008, she returned to Melodifestivalen with Hur svårt kan det va?, qualifying directly for the final and finishing 5th, while the single reached number 3 and her album “Vild & Galen” reached number 2 on the charts.

Her musical style is associated with Swedish pop and schlager.
