Coming from a family of professional dancers, she gained attention in childhood by winning dance competitions and appearing on the TV playback show “The Mini Playbackshow”. Her television career began with small roles in series, later hosting shows like CallTV and Puzzeltijd.

From 2003 to 2004, she presented Kids Top 20 on the children’s channel Jetix, winning the Gouden Stuiver award.

Her music career started in 2003 with the single Teenage Superstar, which became a number-one hit in Indonesia and charted in several countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, and Sweden. This track and the follow-up single Hey Boy! propelled her into the spotlight.

Her debut album, *Balance*, released in 2004, reached number 9 on the Dutch album chart. The album spawned further singles like Garden of Love, a song with more serious, mature lyrics, and a cover of Kim Wilde‘s Kids in America, which entered the Dutch top 10.

Her rapid success caught the attention of the BBC in the UK, who invited her to co-host an episode of the famous music program Top of the Pops.

After leaving her first label, CMM Records, to move away from children’s music, she worked on a second album, *Just Do It*, which she self-produced with the help of Swedish producer Daniël Gibson. The singles Road to Heaven and In Vain were released from it.

She collaborated with songwriters from several countries, including Sweden, England, the Netherlands, and Belgium, to write her own music.
