Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, better known by his stage name Kid Cudi, is an American artist and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. He also uses the aliases Scott Mescudi and Moon Man for some of his artistic activities. Although often associated with hip-hop, his musical style incorporates electronic elements, particularly house, and he has collaborated with major figures like David Guetta. His career took off after his first mixtape, which led to him signing with Kanye West’s GOOD Music label. In addition to his own works, he has contributed to video game soundtracks, such as for *Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition*. Versatile, he is a singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist, has composed for film, and directed music videos. In parallel, he has developed an acting career, appearing in television series and films.
