Biography
Kesha Rose Sebert, known mononymously as Kesha, is an American artist.
Her career started in 2009 with her participation in the single Right Round by Flo Rida, which reached number one. She then opened for Calvin Harris during a tour in the United Kingdom.
Her first album, Animal, was released in January 2010. The single TiK ToK, released in August 2009, became the first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 of the 2010s.
In November 2010, she released the EP Cannibal including the number-one single We R Who We R. Her second album, Warrior, came out in November 2012 with a collaboration from Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips.
In 2017, her third album Rainbow debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Followed by High Road in 2020, Gag Order in 2023 accompanied by a live EP, and the single JOYRIDE in July 2024.
Her sixth album, “.”, was released in July 2025 with a deluxe version featuring collaborations with Jade, T-Pain, Slayyter, and Rose Gray.
Her musical style is associated with pop, dance, electropop, and electronic genres.
