Kaaze
Biography
Mick Peter Diddi Kastenholt, known by his stage name Kaaze (stylized as KAAZE), is a Swedish electronic music producer, DJ, and songwriter from Helsingborg in Scania.
He began playing piano and drums at a young age. After moving to Stockholm, he retreated to his studio for nearly a year and a half, producing music constantly. The resulting demo caught the attention of his idol, Tiësto.
This encounter led to a close collaboration, with Kaaze sending daily demos to the Dutch superstar. He developed a melodic progressive sound and later signed with Tiësto’s management group, Red Light Management, which led to a tour in New York and Tiësto’s residency at Hakkasan in Las Vegas.
He was previously known under the pseudonym Miachi. He also uses the alias BLK RSE and is sometimes referenced under his real name, Mick Kastenholt.
His musical style is associated with progressive house, big room, and EDM in general.
