Biography

Jens Jordan, known as Deejay Jordan, began his career in 1987 at the age of 15. His passion for electronic music quickly led him to the decks in 1988, where he started performing every weekend in Schweinfurt (Bavaria) and the surrounding area.

In 1992 he began a two-year residency with the G&T Group in Upper Franconia. His real turning point came in 1994 when he became the resident DJ at the legendary Fun Factory in Munich, a position he held for four years and that was crucial to launching his international career. At the same time he performed regularly at the Fun Factory nightclub in Vienna, one of the city’s most famous venues, building his reputation as a versatile DJ specializing in Trance and Hardtrance.

Deejay Jordan took his first steps into music production in 1995, collaborating on his very first project with the legendary Amanda Lear on the track Angel Love. In 2002 he achieved an international breakthrough through his collaboration with Shaun Baker; together as Jordan & Baker they produced the hit Explode, a success not only in Germany but also in countries like Spain, Poland and the Netherlands, propelling Deejay Jordan onto the international club scene.
