Biography

Ilsey, born Ilsey Anna Juber, is an American singer-songwriter, born on April 17, 1986.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, she has been writing songs for many top artists since 2014.

Artists she has written or co-written for include Shawn Mendes, Martin Garrix, Bebe Rexha, Mark Ronson, Lykke LI, Panic! at the Disco, Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Rita Ora, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Mariah Carey and Major Lazer.

She notably co-wrote the 2018 hit Nothing Breaks Like a Heart in collaboration with Miley Cyrus.

Alongside her writing work, Ilsey launched a solo career with the release of her debut album From the Valley in 2023.

The album features heartfelt songs that blend pastoral accompaniment with contemporary atmospheric electronic touches, reflecting her melodic style rooted in the Laurel Canyon pop tradition.

Her music is often described as combining a warm, slightly raspy voice with observant, literary lyrics; it is primarily in the Pop genre with Electronic influences.
