Eric Singleton, born Eric Newkirt Singleton on November 6, 1968, in New York, is an artist.
His music career began in 1994. He has appeared on numerous projects under various aliases, including Extra Large, MC X, XL Singleton, DJ Eric, and XL. These projects include collaborations with groups such as Face II Face, Cool Passion, Rotation, Ministry Of Sound, Tom Tom, B.O.O.N, Cool Cut, Deep Down, Francis Ford, G-Traxx, Helmut Zerlett, Hip Opera feat. Michael D. KAY, Sinclair N Wilde, and World In Motion.
He is particularly known for his collaboration with the duo Modern Talking between 1998 and 2001.
His work is associated with the dance and tropical house genres.
