Emil Lassaria

Biography

Emil Lassaria, born Emil Marinescu on 3 October 1981 in Târgoviște, Romania, is a DJ, producer and house music remixer.

It all began in 2000 when he started in radio, driven by a passion for electronic music. In 2001 he hosted the show “Dj Mail In The Mix” on Radio Minisat in Târgoviște, a program that quickly became a key part of the schedule.

In spring 2002, his meeting with Pub Groove was pivotal: after numerous residencies, notably at Club Fly and K’s Club and at various events, Emil established himself as a leading DJ and began producing his own tracks, which proved very successful at his gigs.

In summer 2006 an invitation to Club Escape earned him a new residency, a place he now considers his home base and where he made many friends.

His career has earned recognition, including a nomination at the Romanian Music Awards 2013 for “Best DJ” for the song Tu Amor, recorded in collaboration with Caitlyn.
