Biography
DJ Soda, born Hwang So-hee on April 7, 1986, is a South Korean artist signed to Highline Entertainment.
Well known among dance music fans—especially within Asia’s electronic scene—she became a worldwide name after leaving acting to focus entirely on DJing in 2013. She has completed over 50 North American tour dates alongside many appearances across Asia and Europe, successfully breaking into the global market.
A viral sensation, she developed a signature stage move known as the “Flute Dance,” amassing millions of views on YouTube and Facebook. With a massive social media following, she has secured endorsements from Pioneer DJ and Maxim, which called her a “beauty icon.” She also appeared on Insomniac’s Countdown Virtual Rave-A-Thon.
Her career includes remixes and collaborations with contemporaries such as WetBoy and MOMOLAND.
