DJ Shadow Dubai

DJ Shadow Dubai has established himself as one of the most respected DJs on Dubai’s music scene.

Resident DJ of the No.1 Desi at Club Sensation, he was awarded ‘BEST ASIAN DJ’ at the Masala Awards 2010.

His official album, ‘Tera Saath Hai Kitna Pyaara’ (2011), was released on Times Music in India and Musicbox in the Middle East; it was a major success in India and was featured on Emirates Airlines’ in-flight entertainment system.

As a producer he has produced official tracks for artists such as Jay Sean, Anushka Manchanda, RDB, Rishi Rich, H-Dhami and Sona Family. His official remixes of Stay and Tonight were on the BBC UK Asian Network A-list for several consecutive months.

He made his Bollywood debut with remixes for the films ‘Diwangi Ne Hadh Kar Di’ and ‘Yeh Dooriyan’.

He has been resident DJ for Asian Nights at many Dubai nightclubs — Elegante, Kandy Club, Chi, Trilogy, Alpha, Mix, Platinum and Gold Lounge — as well as at Desibel and Desilicious in Bahrain.

He has shared bills with many leading artists, including Rishi Rich, Jay Sean, Juggy D, Veronica, Raghav, Atif Aslam, Bombay Rockers, Junoon, Bally Sagoo, DJ Aqeel, DJ Akbar Sami, DJ Suketu, DJ Nasha, DJ Notorious, Panjabi MC, RDB, Dr Zeus, Sona Family, Jazzy B, Call and Roxen.

He hosts his own weekly radio show every Friday on Radio Spice (105.4 FM) in Dubai.

Considered a pioneer of the regional music scene, his adaptation to musical trends has ensured a steady growth in his popularity.

His deep musical knowledge was also expressed through regular articles for Infusion and Play Magazine, where he shared analyses of the local nightlife scene and reviewed the latest albums.

He has been featured in media such as Khaleej Times and Gulf News, and interviewed on Zee Arabiya, Radio 4 FM, City FM, Campus Journal, Pehla Magazine, Emirates Today, E-Plus, Sony TV, Brit Asia TV and RDB TV.

With over 60,000 fans on Facebook and around 80 successful remixes, DJ Shadow Dubai continues to make his mark on Dubai’s music scene and beyond.
