Biography
Da Blitz was an Italian Eurodance project active from 1994 to 1998, formed by Simone Pastore on keyboards and Viviana Presutti on vocals. The main producers were Massimo Gabutti and Luciano Zucchet. Many tracks were also mixed by Gabry Ponte. Other associated members include Domenico Capuano. The project’s official name is Pastore, Presutti & Gabutti.
The group had several club hits with songs such as Let Me Be, Stay With Me, Take Me Back, To Live Forever, and Take My Way.
Viviana Presutti was born in Turin on May 28, 1972. She started singing at a young age and studied piano from age 6 to 17. She met Simone Pastore when she entered the Bliss Co. studios in October 1993.
Simone Pastore was born in Taranto on September 20, 1971. He has been playing piano since the age of 6, taught by his mother, a renowned pianist in Italy. He began performing with her across the country from the age of 10. He joined the Bliss Co. studios in June 1993.
In 2004, the project was briefly revived under the name D.B. Reloaded. It is also known by the name variations Da Butz, Da-Blitz, DaBlitz, and The Blitz.
