Black Diamond
Biography
The name Black Diamond refers to several distinct artists. Here it denotes the South African musician Charles Fitzgerald Davis, also known under the aliases C. Davis and Fresh Diamond.
During the 1990s he released several singles as Black Diamond, including Let Me Be (1994), Keep On Movin' (1995), Love Power (1995) and Go With Love (1995). These singles came out on ARS in Belgium and ZYX in Germany.
Keep On Movin' was written by C. Davis and T. Guerin. His final single, Rise Up, featured vocals by Koen Tillie.
Alongside his solo work, Charles Fitzgerald Davis collaborated with the group Technotronic. He took part in their last album on the songs Saving All Your Love, I Want You By My Side, Nowhere To Run and Can’t Live Without You. He also contributed to Claudia Chin – Love Power in 1995.
