Alex Zind

Biography

Alex Zind is a producer, pianist, composer and remixer from Germany. He was nominated for the “German Songwriting Award 2026” and received the ADTV Music Award 2023 as “Best Dance Producer & DJ”. His music moves between Deep House, Pop, Dance and an Indie style.

At the age of 6, he started playing piano and soon performed concerts in Germany and across Europe, kickstarting an award-winning music career. Alongside classical piano, he was invited to contribute film music and special effects to Hollywood productions, including “The Adventures Of Pinocchio”. In 1993, he founded his own record label and received a first contract the following year.

One of his hits is a remix of Funky Cold Medina, which sold more than 3.5 million copies. He worked with artists such as Limahl (Kajagoogoo) and Tina Harris (Sweetbox), and met bands including Alphaville, Leningrad Cowboys, Bomfunk MC’s and The Rasmus. He also recorded a song with producer Dario G for the album “Hola”, and created another remix for it.

Today, he notably brings landmark 80s and 90s material into a dancefloor-focused direction while changing his approach from one new production to the next.
