Alex Mica
Biography
Alex Mica, born Alexandru Cătălin Mica, is a Romanian dance and pop singer, born on 25 August 1991 in Timisoara.
He made his first stage appearance at nine years old at a young talent contest; in 2008 he took part in the “Megastar” competition and reached the semi-finals alongside the group “Sign”.
In 2009 he entered the Romanian music scene through a collaboration with George Hora and Puya on the song Doamna si Vagabondul.
In 2011 he worked with Hahaha Production and recorded backing vocals for the track “Save Save”. His next hit was Seniorita, a song written and performed by Alex Mica in collaboration with Allexino and Starchild.
Shortly after he released Mi Corazon with Dj Fabio Da Lera. The real turning point came with Dalinda, produced with Dony and The Kid under the 1ArtistMusic label.
Dalinda accumulated more than two million views on YouTube in one month and became one of the hits of 2012; Alex Mica received his first concert booking just one week after the video was posted.
He is now an artist at 1ArtistMusic, a booking agency and label founded by Laurentiu Duta and Dony.
