Alex M.

The project Alex M. is a pseudonym used by German producer Axel Jäger, also known as Alex Megane. This pseudonym was initially associated with a more “Hands Up” oriented Trance style before 2009. From that year onwards, the style evolved towards House and Electro House.

Active for many years, Alex M. began captivating house fans as early as 2005. His first production, the track Strong!, quickly gained international attention. He followed up with the single So Free, consolidating his burgeoning success.

In 2006, the track I Can't Stand It became a genuine club hit. This production is considered a significant milestone on the commercial house/club scene, its unique approach paving the way for many subsequent productions. The fourth single, Passion (Nasty Rhythm), was a major success, reaching number one in the charts of the major German online music retailer Musicload.

In late 2009, Alex M. released his first album, compiling his hit tracks along with many new productions. This period was also marked by the single Let The Music Play, showcasing the artist’s versatility and his ability to produce commercial house beats for the dancefloor and radio.

Axel Jäger operates under several other aliases in the field of electronic music, including Cosmic Culture, Hunters Choice, Anyma, Silver Star (2), and Phunk Foundation.
