Ado

Biography

Born on October 24, 2002 in Tokyo, Ado began her career as an utaite by uploading covers to online platforms, starting on January 10, 2017 with a cover of Kimi no taion.
Her interest in music was influenced during her teenage years by the Vocaloid scene and particularly by Hatsune Miku, who encouraged her to sing while preserving her anonymity.

Her official debut single, Usseewa, released in 2020 when she was 17, achieved meteoric success, reaching number one on several major Japanese charts. The music video surpassed 100 million views in just 148 days, making her the youngest solo singer to achieve this feat on those charts.

The year 2022 marked a turning point with the release of the album Kyougen, followed by the album One Piece: Film Red in August. For the latter project, she played a central role. On August 14, seven tracks from the album simultaneously occupied the top seven positions on a chart, a rare accomplishment.

She also contributed to film projects by creating two theme songs for the live-action movie Karada Sagashi.
In 2023, she released the singles Show and Kura Kura, the latter serving as the opening theme for the anime Spy x Family, a first for her in a television series. She also announced her first world tour.

In December 2023, she paid tribute to her origins by releasing the covers album Ado’s Utattemita Album, based on her fans’ choices.

On April 20, 2024, she announced her second studio album, Zanmu, released on July 10, 2024. This release was accompanied by a live album recorded during her Wish world tour at the Peacock Theater in California.

In 2025, she added another collaboration to her repertoire with the track Stay Gold (From Beyblade X) (2025). Her music is associated with the j-pop, anime, and vocaloid genres.
