Biography
On stage, Adam Katz aims not just to be heard but to actively draw audiences in. He blends pop, R&B and soul with fast-paced freestyle moments noted by the Sydney Morning Herald.
His live history includes several appearances at the Splendour in the Grass festival and headlining the inaugural VANFEST. He has also supported 112, Pitbull, Akon, Jay Sean and Kelly Rowland.
He released his debut single Stars through Central Station Records/Universal Music, earning national rotation on 2dayfm, Nova and MTV, and reaching #8 on the UK Club Charts. More recently, Let Me Love You was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands, and has surpassed 600k streams.
Katz has also secured multiple songwriting cuts, including for X-Factor and Universal Production Music. He has been working with DJ and electronic production talent from Australia, the US and the UK on releases scheduled for 2020 and 2021, while continuing to play regular gigs in Sydney—promising a full minute of freestyle dedicated to anyone who comes to see him perform.
