Martina Dennis
Biography
Martina Dennis is an electronic music project bringing together Dennis Logemann, Christie Prentice and Heather Marie Marsden.
The project has also been credited under many aliases, including Grooveriders, Dropzone, Topless, Nasty Boy, Icon, Smoothie, Broken Sweat, DL Electro, TBA, Rainy, Deniz Rain, DeeLoo and Mr. D, as well as under the name Dennis Logemann.
Christie Prentice, born in February 1986, is a singer based in London, originally from Essex. She began training for her singing grades at age 7 and performed at weekend gigs for over 10 years. She later performed with musicians including those connected with Sir Albert Lloyd Webbers, the band Alphabeat, Stephen Singer and Commercial Club Crew on their cover “La Luna”.
She released her first single, Real Shy, under the name Crush On Christie for Hit ‘N’ Hot Music; the track and its additional remixes were later acquired by LNG Music. She also created other singles for the same label, along with cover versions of artists such as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Katy Perry, notably featured in the Australian CD series “Pump It”.
Dennis Logemann is a producer associated with Hands up and is also known as Raindropz!.
