Kompulsor
Biography
The Kompulsor project is led by DJ and producer Eugene Borodkin, based in Baltimore, Maryland.
His music, always melodic and energetic, is heavily influenced by the German Hard-Dance/Trance sound, represented by artists such as DJ Dean (Tunnel Trance Force) and Pulsedriver. The project began in the spring/summer of 2003.
Specializing in a commercial HandsUp style with German accents, characterized by powerful basslines, hard beats, and dramatic Euro melodies, Kompulsor made his mark on the eurodance scene with original tracks like Your Girl and DJ Number One around 2005-2006, which quickly broke into the German charts.
His activities also include producing regular DJ mixes and numerous remixes for other artists. He has collaborated with several singers, notably within the project Kompulsor Feat. Di with Canadian singer Dorothy Godlinski, adapting, for example, Chris Daughtry’s rock track It's Not Over into a HandsUp version.
Under the alias Infl8or, he continued his production and remix work. His discography, which began with the track Interceptor, has grown over the years with numerous original productions and remixes, notably for Pulsedriver, Ziggy X, DJ Digress, Bass-T, and Imprezive Meets Pink Planet.
