
Alina Eremia
Biography
Alina Eremia is a Romanian singer and actress born on December 15, 1993, in Buftea.
She began her music career at a very young age. At 14, Catalin Târcolea composed her first album, which includes nine songs. At 16, she formed a band with a high school classmate and recorded her second album.
In 2010, she released her first solo single under the alias Russian Girl, a pseudonym given to her by Tom Boxer, and soon after changed her alias to Cooper.
She was a member of the band Miracol for over six years, during which she also studied piano at the Bucharest School of Music and Fine Arts.
Alina Eremia is also known for her role as Ioana in the teen TV series *Pariu cu viața*. She worked for Disney Romania as the singing voice of Pocahontas in the Romanian dubs of *Pocahontas* (2008) and *Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World* (2009), as well as the speaking and singing voice of Belle in *Beauty and the Beast* and its sequels (from 2010).
She represented Romania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the band LaLa and the song Ţurai.
