Issue is a project led by M.A.S. de Vries.
Real name: Martijn A. S. de Vries.
Born in the Netherlands in the late 1970s, he bought his first synthesizer in the early 1990s as the house era emerged and began writing his first tunes.
In the late 1990s he started mixing and producing at Triple B Records studios in Eindhoven (Netherlands).
In early 2002 he founded Elevated Music, a combined production studio and label intended to write and record songs and vocals for in-house artists.
The project has also used several aliases: First Impression, Lm Beatz, Lyra, Sam G, The Foundation, The Producer.
He also took part in groups and collaborations under the names: Akira, Azora, B.S.C. Project, Central Seven, DJ C7, Inara, Indigo.
Issue acts as the framework for Martijn A. S. de Vries’s production, composition and collaborative work within Elevated Music.
