Limelight
Biography
Limelight is a club house project created by Slobodan Petrovic Jr., better known by the artist name Pulsedriver.
The project was released on his own label, Aqualoop Records.
The first single was Like a Prayer. It follows the same idea as the track released the same year by the group Mad'house: a mashup combining Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” with the house rhythm from You See the Trouble With Me by the group Black Legend.
While Mad'house was climbing the charts in France, Limelight’s version was aimed more at the German market.
Other aliases used by Pulsedriver include DJ Tibby, Don Esteban, Malibu Drive, Pinball, Sal de Sol and The Trancecore Project.
