Biography
Emaa, real name Emanuela Alexa, is a singer and singer-songwriter born on April 2, 1992, in Lugoj, Romania.
She gained recognition in 2020 with the release of the song Insula, a collaboration with the band The Motans that led to a partnership with the label Global Records.
An artist with a unique universe, she creates compositions where her powerful voice takes center stage. Her complex personality is reflected in music that explores different moods and emotions.
She began writing poetry and prose in high school, a sensibility she now transposes into her songs. As a songwriter, she has collaborated with artists such as Silent Strike and Deliric.
In 2020, Emaa released her first album, titled “Macii infloresc iarna” (Poppies Bloom in Winter), a project that resonated deeply with the public.
