Jan Van Bass-10
Biography
Jan Van Bass-10, whose real name is Jan Unger, is a German DJ and producer based in Schleswig-Holstein, specializing in hardtrance, hardstyle and hands-up.
His musical career began very early: he started playing drums at the age of two. By ten, he was already performing on stage with one of his many bands. Around the age of nineteen, his interest shifted decisively toward electronic music, allowing him to fully apply his sense of rhythm and melody.
With the help of producer Jan-Hendrik Gessner, he quickly achieved his first successes from 2002 onward. He is particularly known for producing numerous hardstyle anthems for the renowned INSANE venue in Kiel in northern Germany.
He has also created various remixes for artists such as Dj Fausto, Brooklyn Bounce, Jan Wayne and DJ Gollum. His track Behind Blue Eyes reached the Top 10 of the German Dance Charts.
Alongside his solo project, Jan Van Bass-10 works closely with Henry Bumann on the Sunics and Sun-X-Boys projects. He also co-produces tracks and remixes for Kian Keen.
