Beauz
Biography
Beauz (pronounced ‘bowz’) is an American DJ and producer duo formed by brothers Bernie and Johan Yang, also known as BSY and JSY. Based in Los Angeles and San Francisco and of Indonesian and Taiwanese heritage, they aim to unite cultures and create a positive impact through their music.
In just four years they earned support from leading DJs such as Zedd, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Don Diablo, and toured prestigious venues and universities across North America and Asia.
Rooted in Dance Pop, Beauz became a breakout name in 2024, headlining main stages and selling out key venues in North America and Asia.
The brothers reached new heights as a Hard Techno force: in 2024 alone they amassed over 600000 ‘baddies’ through viral content on Instagram and TikTok and gathered more than 2 million views for their Hard Techno sets on YouTube.
Their bold remixes, including My Humps and Bel Mercy, regularly appear in sets by Hard Techno heavyweights like Ben Nicky and Nico Moreno, and in the catalogs of major Bass music artists such as Subtronics. Their self-produced Lick It became their most-streamed track on Spotify. Beyond their art, Beauz promotes the motto ‘BADDIE UP ®’ by engaging positively with fans online and offline after shows, living their mission to uplift those around them.
