Arctic Moon

Biography

Arctic Moon, born Tomasz Popielarski, is a trance producer and DJ from Szczecin, Poland.

His passion for electronic music began in childhood. He spent three years learning music production and experimenting with different sounds before fully dedicating himself to trance in 2007. His style is euphoric and uplifting, incorporating elements of classical music, new age, chill out, and even rock.

Over time, his production quality and international profile have continued to grow. He is now closely associated with major labels such as Armada Music and Aly & Fila’s Future Sound of Egypt Recordings (FSOE). Singles like True Romance and Adelaide, released on FSOE, topped download charts and gained broad radio support as well as backing from leading DJs.

The success of his releases has brought numerous remix requests from top DJs. He has reworked tracks such as Coming Home by Armin Van Buuren, It Will Be OK by Aly & Fila, and Till the Sky Falls Down by Dash Berlin. His work is regularly played by the trance elite, including Bryan Kearney, Roger Shah, Paul Oakenfold, and Armin Van Buuren himself, who included no fewer than four of his productions or remixes on his “A State Of Trance Year Mix 2011”.

Ranked #177 in the 2011 DJ Mag Poll, Arctic Moon is also a highly active DJ. After a performance-packed 2011 across Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Italy, and Egypt, 2012 looked just as promising, with confirmed dates and planned debut shows in Slovakia and Argentina.

He also hosts a monthly radio show titled “Arctic Moon presents AFTERWORLD”, broadcast every fourth Monday of the month.
